Anti-Collusion Cheaters pose little or no threat on line. No one can mark the playing cards, no one can peek at your exposed or hole cards, and no one can stack the deck or deal from the bottom. Playing poker online is very safe. The things that can and do happen in land based card rooms can’t and don’t happen on line. However, there is one thing that happens in land based casinos that some cheaters do try to get away with online: they try to collude, that is, share information and play their hands in order to help each other win. This is also known as “playing partners”. Our experienced, expert staff at the IPN track all play in real time. Any suspected collusion is reported to the Security and Fraud Department, accounts are locked immediately for a detailed investigation. Play is checked over a period of days to find out if the players involved in the original incident have a history of playing together when on the site, Also studied in detail are the patterns of play. Chat logs are monitored. Colluders will have their accounts frozen and be banned from the IPN and all its affiliated sites worldwide. |
