The History of Boss Media
In the Beginning
Boss Media – a company internationally recognized for the quality of its interactive gaming solutions – was founded in 1996. A proficient team developed Boss Media's first interactive casino, Gold Club, which was launched in 1997 and became an instant Internet success.
Boss Media's initial corporate aim was merely to operate Gold Club Casino, but soon after the online casino was launched, the company received numerous requests from investors and companies interested in purchasing Boss Media's casino software, unparalleled for its tasteful game graphics and astonishingly realistic casino ambience. Boss Media's main focus thereby changed to the creation of complete Internet casino solutions for clients.
Boss Media's corporate focus has since shifted to the creation of customised e-gaming systems for several of the world's largest gaming corporations. Boss Media's solutions are tailored to the unique needs of each client and based on innovative casino, poker, bingo and lottery applications for multiple digital distribution channels. Boss Media sold its own Internet casino in February 2004 to focus entirely on perfecting the e-gaming solutions it develops for clients. In our effort to ensure the long-term success of each client's gaming operation, we remain dedicated to continuous technological research and development.
EssNet, based in Sweden, designs, implements and services online lottery systems for state-authorised lotteries and gaming companies. EssNet services customers around the world with installations in Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, South America and Australia.
In July 2003, Boss Media established a joint venture company with EssNet, EssNet Interactive, to develop and market interactive video terminals (IVTs). Boss Media brings software expertise to the joint venture, while EssNet provides many years' experience within the area of computer hardware.
Technical Systems Testing
Boss Media's software has been independently and impartially tested and certified by Technical Systems Testing (TST), an internationally recognized testing firm, which offers testing and consultation services to both the land-based and interactive gaming industries to ensure that games operate in a manner that is fair, secure and auditable. TST's services are delivered by a multi-disciplined team of trained computer scientists, engineers, mathematicians and information systems auditors.
Interactive Gaming Council
Boss Media is a member of the Interactive Gaming Council (IGC), a non-profit organization established to provide a forum to address issues and advance common interests in the global interactive gaming industry and to establish fair and responsible trade guidelines and practices that enhance consumer confidence in interactive gaming products and services.
