After approximately 2 hours nearly two-thirds of the field had been eliminated and the event started to heat up, as players got close to the prize money, with 80 places paid, “fiddle284” holding Ac Qs and having hit top pair on the board, however “heightenm11” was holding Pocket Aces, and thus “fiddle284” was eliminated on the 1 place out of the money. Finally after a further 2 hours we were down to the final table, with everyone on the table taking home a minimum $3,350, but with the possibility of winning $68,500 there was still a lot to play for. The final table proceeded quite quickly, and with only 48 hands separating 10th place and 1st place, the game was aggressive and intense. Once 8 more players had been eliminated it was between “feccia2” and “--SVINET--” for a heads-up confrontation. After only 6 more hands “--SVINET--” was finally defeated holding two pair, with “feccia2” holding a straight to the Ace.
