IPN poker  are sending players to the DKK 30,000 (€4,000) Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, Denmark. This tournament is a No Limit Freezeout tournament taking place on the 19^th to 22nd January 2006.

This event will be held at the prestigious Casino Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark from the 19th – 22nd January. The prize package is a $6,500 package including DKK 30,000 entry to the tournament and approximately $1,700 accommodation/ travel money (depending on the Euro/dollar exchange rate on the date of the online final).  This event is a televised event and is part of the European Poker Tour. In addition to their prize money the EPT gives the winner of the tournament a Euro 10,000 seat in the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo 7-11 March 2006.

You can win one of these seats via the satellites running over the next six weeks which give entry into the $350 online final on Sunday 1st January 2006.

$4 satellites will run every day at 14:30, 19:30, 22:30 and 02:30 GMT. Winners of the daily satellites will win entry into the Sunday $38 final at 15:30 GMT to compete for a $350 seat in the online final at 15:30 GMT on Sunday 1^st January. Check the Multi Tourney lobby for further information

  The Promoter of this promotion is IPN poker.

  The tourney event that represents the prizes is The Scandinavian Open at the Casino Copenhagen in Copenhagen, Denmark (The tournament is No Limit freeze out, no Rebuys, DKK 30,000 entry) to take place on 19th – 22nd January 2006. The prizes include approximately $1,700 travel/accommodation money (depending on the Euro/Dollar exchange rate on the date of funds transfer). 

  The prize does not include accommodation or travel to or from Copenhagen, this is the sole responsibility of the player.

  The minimum age limit for the tournament is 18.

  In the event of a service crash or a disruption, the promotion for that day will be rerun at the discretion of IPN poker will be the sole arbiter as to whether a promotion will be rerun.

  IPN poker accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any player during any of these promotions, such as a fold / timeout.

  The promoter reserves the right to refuse this offer to any player or to withdraw this / or part of this offer / promotion at any time. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any 'fold / timeouts' or disconnects as per the general rules of the IPN Poker service. If the game is disrupted by system or network issues xxxxx reserves the right to resolve the issue as it sees fit.

  In the event of event cancellation or buy-in unavailability, cash equivalent will be awarded.

  Any player who wins any of the promotions has the right not to participate. There is no cash alternative.

  The winners will be required to wear branded clothing at the main event whenever they are playing, subject to event permissions.

  By participating in the tournament you agree to reasonable publicity, including betting markets around the event and television media interviews and press releases. Event reports will also feature the name and alias of the winners.

  Seats for the Scandinavian Open are not transferable and there is no cash alternative. Should a player win two seats then he or she will forfeit one of them.
